LETTER CARRIERS' FOOD DRIVE
Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive (20 Volunteers) - Saturday, May 13, 2023
Participants will be located at various postal locations throughout Cumberland County and Second Harvest Food Bank to unload and sort donated food. Requirements: Closed-toe shoes; working gloves; informal attire such as jeans/t-shirts.
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
The Leadership Development Program (LDP) is FREE board training designed to identify, develop and enhance leadership skills. The program also teaches the skills and responsibilities required for volunteers to become effective non-profit board members.
COMMUNITY IMPACT REVIEW PANEL
Community Impact Review Panel (CIRP) Volunteers put the “ACTION” into United Way of Cumberland County’s (UWCC) funding process. Each year, CIRP Volunteers are recruited to serve on panels developed to review and evaluate funded programs and services provided by UWCC’s Community Partners.
COMMUNITY STAND DOWN
This annual event happens each November to provide health and human services access to Cumberland County residents in need. Some of the resources include personal hygiene kits, no perishable food bag, dental screenings and more!
