Mark Your Calendars for the Annual Meal Packing Event Presented By Cape Fear Valley Health

Mark Your Calendars for the Annual Meal Packing Event!
Last year, more than 500 dedicated volunteers came together and packed over 70,000 meals in a little over 30 minutes. All meals were donated to:
- Alms House Hope Mills
- Armed Services YMCA
- Catholic Charities
- Falcon Children’s Home
- Fayetteville Urban Ministry
- Operation Blessing
- Spring Lake Family Support Services
This year, United Way of Cumberland County is once again working toward packing 70,000 meal packets, and we’re inviting volunteers to help us reach that goal.
Many of us are fortunate to know where our next meal is coming from. Unfortunately, that’s not the case for everyone in our community. On August 14, we’ll use our lunch hour to provide meals for those who need them most. Your time and support can make a real difference.
We will also continue collecting non-perishable, shelf-stable canned goods to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank. Please bring your donations to the event. Collection boxes will be on site.
We can’t wait to see you!
