The 2025 GivingTuesday catalog will be open for donations November 24 - December 2
Save the date and come back soon to join us for a Global Day of Generosity. The GivingTuesday 2025 online catalog will feature 82 giving opportunities to support nonprofits and their initiatives in Cumberland County, NC, including United Way of Cumberland County!
Make your gift between November 24th (9am) and December 2nd (11:59pm) to have your gift amplified by the $500,000 match. This match is possible thanks to gifts made by:
- Fayetteville New Car Dealers Association
- Holmes Security Systems
- Elizabeth “Beth” Keeney
- Daphne and Ray Manning
- Carol and Sammy Short
- Unrestricted Endowments of CCF
- Four anonymous donors
You may begin directing check, DAF, IRA, and stock gifts to CCF starting November 1st. Most gifts will be held and then processed with the start of the campaign on November 24th.
Ways to give:
- Credit card – Give $25 or more through the online catalog by clicking on the Donate Now button coming November 24th at 9am through December 2nd at 11:59pm.
- Check – Write your check payable to "Cumberland Community Foundation" with "GivingTuesday - United Way of CC" in the memo.
- Checks must be received by CCF no later than December 2nd to be eligible for a match.
- Mail checks to United Way of Cumberland County, 321 Dick St STE 107, Fayetteville, NC 28301 or to CCF, PO Box 2345, Fayetteville, NC 28302.
- Drop off checks at United Way, 321 Dick St STE 107, Fayetteville, NC 28301 or at CCF, 308 Green Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301 using the secure mail slot located on the front, street-facing side of our building. This mail drop is accessed only by the staff of CCF.
- Donor advised grant – Make your grant recommendation payable to Cumberland Community Foundation (tax id 58-1406831) and designated for GivingTuesday - United Way of Cumberland County.
- Stock gifts – Call Cumberland Community Foundation for instructions at (910)483-4449 Mary Holmes x103 or Mary Anne Brooks x106
- Charitable IRA Rollovers – Donors 70.5 or older may make gifts directly from their IRA to Cumberland Community Foundation for GivingTuesday. (Your plan administrator must send the check directly to CCF. To ensure prompt gift acknowledgement, give us a call (910)483-4449 or send an email to Gifts@CumberlandCF.Org to let us know the amount of the check, the name of your plan administrator, and mention that this is for United Way of Cumberland County.)
