Community Impact Review Panel (CIRP) Volunteers put the “action” into United Way of Cumberland County’s (UWCC) funding process. Each year, CIRP Volunteers are recruited to serve on panels developed to review and evaluate funded programs and services provided by UWCC’s Community Partners. Review Panel evaluations and recommendations will guide funding decisions for programs and services that impact UWCC’s targeted community impact areas: Education, Health, and Basic Critical Needs & Financial Stability.
REVIEW PANEL MEMBER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attend the required review panel volunteer orientation workshop on March 26, 2026
- To review submitted request for funding proposals
- To participate in on-site agency visits
- To attend all review panel meetings
- To evaluate and make recommendations of each program on it’s own merit
- Total time commitment is 8-10 business hours during the months of April and May.
