    Where: Various local library branches

Help ignite a lifelong love of reading by volunteering at our Imagination Library Storytime events! As a volunteer, you’ll play a meaningful role in nurturing early literacy and creating joyful reading experiences for young children in our community.

    Volunteer Requirements:
    - To ensure the safety and success of our events, volunteers must:
    - Complete a short online application (10–15 minutes)
    - Pass a background check (required for all roles involving children)
    - Attend a volunteer orientation and child safety training
    - Provide one professional reference

    Volunteer Roles:
    📦 Logistics Support
Help events run smoothly! Volunteers in this role assist with setup and breakdown, greet and register families, guide attendees, and create a welcoming, organized atmosphere.

    📖 Storytime Reader
Bring stories to life for children ages 0–5! Readers engage young listeners through books, songs, rhymes, and interactive storytelling. You’ll also support follow-up crafts and activities that reinforce literacy skills.

Hands-on training is provided through a 5-session shadowing model to help you feel confident and prepared.
