  provides students with an opportunity to learn about a wide variety of ca
 reer fields and network with professionals already working in those fields
 . They get hands-on experience to determine whether or not a particular ca
 reer field is right for them. They develop valuable contacts with professi
 onals working in their selected career field\, and they get to know other 
 youth with the same interests and aspirations.
