2024 DAYS OF CARING - May 9th & May 10th, 2024
Volunteers are connected with dozens of nonprofits for a day of hard work, laughter, and making a change in our community. Projects include Hygiene item collection, yard cleaning, meals on Wheels, Radio Reading to the visually impaired, Food Pantry & Clothing Closet sorting, and many more challenging ways to give back to the organizations that provide services to our neighbors.
LETTER CARRIERS' FOOD DRIVE
Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive - Saturday, May 11, 2024
Participants will be located at various postal locations throughout Cumberland County and Second Harvest Food Bank to unload and sort donated food.
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
The Leadership Development Program (LDP) is FREE board training designed to identify, develop and enhance leadership skills. The program also teaches the skills and responsibilities required for volunteers to become effective non-profit board members.
COMMUNITY STAND DOWN
This annual event happens each November to provide health and human services access to Cumberland County residents in need. Some of the resources include personal hygiene kits, no perishable food bag, dental screenings and more!
