Nearly 200 volunteers fanned out across Cumberland County May 10-12 doing the ever important task of helping our non profit organizations. Thank you all for rolling up your sleeves and doing jobs like yard work with Habitat for Humanity, painting at Myrover-Reese Fellowship Homes and cleaning the Salvation Army shelter.
We’d also like to thank the postal workers and the volunteers who took time out of their busy Saturdays to be a part of the 20th annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.
Thank you to Fayetteville PWC for your corporate sponsorship and to the following organizations who sent out groups of helping hands:
Fayetteville PWC – 37 volunteers
Eaton Corp. – 26 volunteers
AT & T – 23 volunteers
Keller Williams Realty – 20 volunteers
Cape Fear Valley Health System – 18 volunteers
Piedmont Natural Gas – 13 volunteers
City of Fayetteville – 12 volunteers
