Days of Caring

United Way of Cumberland County’s Days of Caring is a celebration of community volunteers giving a couple of hours, or a day, to help one another. Volunteers provide helping hands to our non-profit agencies and individuals that need assistance.

2017 Days of Caring: May 11 – 13, 2017

Days of Caring projects encompass a wide variety of needs in our community, such as assisting visually-impaired adults, emergency assistance, site beautification, office management and much more. Volunteers are also needed on Saturday, May 13 to help our local post offices sort through the National Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive donations.

Recruit family members, friends, neighbors and coworkers to form a team. Teams can range in size from 2 to over 10.

Project sign up is on a first come, first served basis. Please list three project preferences when completing the registration form. You will be notified via email or a phone call if any of your project preferences have already been filled with the maximum number of volunteers.

The 2017 Days of Caring Application and Project List will be available in late March 2017.
