Signing up for e-mail updates When you sign up to receive e-mail
updates, we ask for your name and e-mail address.
Donating online
When you donate online by credit card, you must submit your name,
your credit card number and billing information. This information
allows us to process and fulfill your donation and to notify you
of your donation status.
Your IP address
An IP address is a number assigned to your computer automatically
when you use the internet. United Way will use your IP address along
with all other users' IP addresses to track usage patterns and improve
our web site. At no time is your IP address linked with anything
that personally identifies the owner of the IP address.
Other information tracked
When you request speakers, register as a campaigner, request information
about running a campaign, enter a sweepstakes, complete a survey,
vote in online polls or any other function that uses a submit/go
button, United Way may track personal information that you provide
in our secure database of community supporters.
What United Way does with information gathered
United Way tracks user traffic patterns, but this tracking is never
associated with individual users.
Cookies

frequency within reasonable limits. You may be removed from our
database at your request. All information is secure and credit card
information is not held in this database. The information in this
database is not shared, traded, sold or rented to any third parties.
Tracking information
United Way may share macro-level tracking information with third
parties for various reasons, among them to attract potential advertisers
and/or grant-makers and to enhance the effectiveness of its web
site. At no time will personally identifiable information that you
