2015 Community Needs Assessment- Winner

The United Way of Cumberland County (UWCC) disseminated its 2012 Health & Human Service Community Needs Survey to seek public input on critical issues facing Cumberland County residents. With this community assessment survey, UWCC hopes to identify critical and emerging needs.

The 2012 Community Assessment Tool is designed to identify current issues within our community. Respondents indicated the issues they perceived to be of critical concern in their neighborhoods. UWCC’s Community Impact Council and staff will use this report to determine the best way to use resources and to implement the UWCC’s Community Impact Agenda of advancing the common good and improving quality of life in Cumberland County.

United Way of Cumberland County conducted the last community needs assessment during the Fall of 2009. That information combined local statistics and community surveys to determine areas with the greatest needs in Cumberland County. The Community Needs Assessment is United Way’s guide for Community Impact, and helps to ensure that program allocations meet community needs.
